Chesler knocks one back.

Except you, says Slotsky’s girl.

Another round arrives. Chesler downs the shot and takes a long swig of beer. Slotsky slides his hand to his girl’s knee. Fat fingers squeeze and wend up the thigh. Palm pressing hard. Pleasure hangs off his face like a fat necktie.

I’ve got a good feeling about this, too, baby.

I’ll bet, says his girl.
